Thole Pins

Nautical Terms – a wooden pin or one of a pair, set upright in the gunwales of a rowing boat to serve as a fulcrum in rowing

Made in Cornwall for pilot gigs and rowing boats, our thole pins are available in softwood (joinery grade pine) and hardwood (prime greenheart)

Greenheart is a very strong timber used extensively in marine applications and resistant to salt water.

The pins are 280mm long with a 30mm to 15mm taper.
