At Woodcut Ltd, we undertake panel processing work to ensure that your new joinery has a smooth, attractive finish. Our state-of-the-art edge bander can apply edging to a range of panel materials from 10mm to 60mm thick.
Edging thickness ranges from 0.8mm to 3mm in PVC, ABS or wood veneer and up to 8mm in solid wood. We also offer curved edge banding on panels up to 60mm thick. We are fully equipped to handle large orders and go the extra mile to make sure that each product is of the highest quality.

Edgebander EU
Many of our projects require panels to be cut and edgebanded to a high standard. Often our products are installed in more extreme environments such as laboratories, hotel and school reception areas, shops, museums and many others.
To cater for this requirement, we have recently invested in a new state-of-the-art edgebander which can apply edging on panels up to 60mm thick using PUR adhesive. This provides a very strong, heat and waterproof bond suitable for any interior application.
For this investment we received a grant from the BIG2 Project funded from the ERDF as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 which partly funded the Biesse Akron 1330-A edgebander, commissioned in June 2018. This investment helps us to increase production capabilities and will enable further investment in terms of employment within the local area.
